The HUMANIST Network of Excellence, which is sponsored and supported by ECTRI and FERSI networks, brings together 23 Partners, including EC-JRC, from 15 European countries.

All partners belong to the European Union, in addition to one associated participants (Norway).

The HUMANIST consortium gathers researchers in Human factors, Ergonomics, Cognitive sciences, Engineering, Sociology working in the areas of road safety, systems design and evaluation, accident analysis and drivers training.

The total number of researchers involved in the HUMANIST initiative reaches 125 researchers and 40 PhD students.
